48 Hours In Fermanagh

Day 1

Carved from the wood of trees from the famous ‘Dark Hedges’ this door tells the story of Season 6 Episode 4 of the popular TV Show.

When you’re in the area why not stop by the Marble Arch UNESCO Global Geopark? Enjoy a unique experience by taking a subterranean boat trip, visitors are guided through a fascinating natural underworld of rivers, waterfalls, winding passages and lofty chambers while stunningly beautiful cave formations glisten all around.

Game of Thrones fans can stop by the nearby filming location, Pollnagollum Cave in Belmore Forest, part of the Marble Arch Global Geopark. The cave is fed by a waterfall and swells to a torrent during harsh weather. If you fancy catching a glimpse, you can follow the Belmore Forest walk which leads to a viewing point for the cave. The cave was used in Season 3: Episode 4 as Hollow Hill in the Riverlands.



Spend your last afternoon indulging in a little culture and experience the highly popular Belleek Pottery Visitor Centre Tour. When you step into the world of Belleek Pottery you step back in history. The museum contains pieces dating back to when the pottery was started in 1857! Make sure your stop in the Tea room for a treat before making your way home.
