The Erne is now linked to the Shannon system via the Shannon- Erne Waterway making it the longest navigable inland waterway in Europe and offers a variety of cruising experiences. No driving licence is needed for a cruiser or day boat.

Relax and enjoy the panoramic views on offer in this Lakeland paradise while on board the M.V. Kestrel. Guided tours are available from Easter to the end of October on a regular basis for public and coach/private parties. Public tours last one and three quarter hours and include a visit to Devenish Island Monastic Site. Each Saturday evening from May to September a public dinner cruise operates from the Killyhevlin Hotel with a 3 course dinner included. Private lunch/ dinner cruises are also available by arrangement.
